Our RAGE is RIGHTEOUS is the second release by A-J - playing as an activist record - dedicated and soundtracking today's fight against racism, injustice and police brutality, following post-deathof George Floyd. The fire symbolize *rage the world is feel right now - channeling the frustration into acts of Righteousness for change. Our Rage IS Righteous, period. Malcolm X historic words plays an important role in this project, setting the tone and backbone through narration.

The flow of the project is very cohesive conceptually, each of the 8 tracks flowing through each other. The song "Reparations (I Cant Breathe)" starts off as the intro, but then once ORIR is replayed, it feel/sound more like the perfect closer.

RIR is written, produced and arranged by ARI-JOVAN (Donavan Glover), showcasing of a more hip-hop inspired approach with some dark/melodic alternative sample chops under hard-thump drums, synth bass, candid soundscape texture sounds from real police sirens, protests, chants, fire igniting etc., Malcolm X sound bites from speeches, and synths chords that's complimented by an original poem I CAN'T BREATHE by the legendary activist, poet and author jessica care moore (Reparations).

The track "Revolt" (co-produced with Nuntheless) adds a cinematic alternative/industrial hiphop-like curveball - expressing more or an aggressive 'sweet spot" in mid project.
